Rabbitohs debutant, Siosifa Talakai, picked up his first NRL try with his first touch of the football against the Gold Coast Titans on Sunday.

The Bears had a sniff of comeback with an unconverted try to Tevita Cottrell in the corner

From the video our try looked to be scored by Abbas Miski?

Bears wane, wet behind the cheers
Caroline Tang
9 June 2016

The Wyong Roos rained 30-4 on the Bears parade at North Sydney Oval at the weekend.

The Bears failed to make an impact during a torrential downpour in round 13 of the NSW Rugby League ISP Cup.

General manager Greg Florimo said the terrible weather was no excuse for his team's devastating loss.

"It was not the result we were after; it was a disappointing day out," he said.

"It was important that we weren't quite as good as our opposition.

"I think we lost a little bit of concentration a few times which caused us to turn over the ball."

Florimo said the team had to deal with a reshuffle during the week, which hurt their preparation.

But the weather was the worst he could remember.

"it was pretty horrible out there, that driving rain." Florimo said.

"In those conditions it's important to have an excellent kicking game and our hardy souls" who turned up to watch the match.

He said a win in the next round on Sunday against ladder-leaders the Mounties would be "a great springboard" for the business end of the business end of the competition.

"We have to be better; they are the benchmark in this competition," Florimo said.

"it's important that we don't slack off. We need to pick up a gear."
