Melbourne have confirmed that barring injury in SOO, Walker and Feeney will be playing for us.

Can I ask why Walker is playing??

He did a pretty bad high tackle against Balmain I thought he might have been out. Is there no Judiciary for Premier League??

There is a judiciary for Premier League, but the people who reviewed the tackle appeared to have deemed it okay. Walker played last week for Melbourne against Manly.

Walker's tackle appear to be a reflex action. Nobody could consider there to be any intent in the tackle, especially when its Walker.

I thought Walker's tackle was fine. From where I sat, it looked like he grabbed the the collar of the player's jersey. I didn't think he made any contact with the player's head or neck. But of course the Tigers player stayed down to try and milk it for all it was worth, something that is getting all too common now in Premier League and the NRL.

No that's fine. It did actually look pretty bad from where I was sitting. It wasnt just myself and the people I was with that were worried about it, it was also Walkers Mrs. She wasnt too quiet about the tackle.

Black can ask for a release, but it must be granted by the club. Which I believe the club has granted.

James Maloney has taken his place and is doing a good job.

I think that's a real shame, Ben Black is one of my favourite players. Having said that, James Maloney has done well the two games I've seen him play in Premier League, and also played well in Jersey Flegg before that. Black is too good to be playing just park footy.

Black is a good player. He is still leading the supporters' player of the year and picked up 3 man of the matches in that while no one else has more than one.

I remember last year our halfback Aaron Heremaia was dropped mid-season but when he came back he was probably our best player over the second half of the year. I think if Black doesn't leave he will get another opportunity soon and would be able to find top form again.

If Daniel Russell is in fine form I think he may beat everyone to Supporters player of the year.

Dan Russell played well against Manly and I gave him 3 votes, but they were the first votes I've given him from the four games I've seen. Of course, if he plays as well as he did last week, he'll be getting a lot of votes from me. He played a great captain's game on Saturday and led by example. Now that he's shown me how well he can play, I hope he keeps it up.
