How this works is that whoever answers the question correctly then gets to ask the next question.
First question:
Which player scored the most tries in one season for North Sydney, how many did he score, and what year was it? |

I spoke to Russell Hunter once about this incident.
When he was sent off in this final, I think it was about 10 nil to Souths at the time.
He went to the dressing rooms at Leichhardt Oval .He was really depressed and thought he had let the team down . He was in the rooms, with his head in his hands and all he could hear was the crowd outside going wild.
With the crowd getting louder and louder he thought Souths where running rampet!!!
Little did he know that this was the turning point in the game and it was actually the Bears scoring all the points with only 12 men. |

OK Who won the Man of the match in the 1978 Challenge Cup Game and what bizzare object was his prize?.
I have fond memories of the lap of honour being undertaken around Leichhardt Oval with this object being carried around. |

I think man of the match was Don McKinnon but I don't know the prize. Anyone else? |

Yes Correct BIG BILL HAMILTON was the man of the match in the challenge cup final.
His award .....a Sewing Machine!
They actually presented it to him on the field when they handed out the Cup and he did the lap of honour with the other players carrying the sewing machine around Leichhardt Oval.....Classic memories.
OK ...new Question |
