It shows we need some strike try scoring outside backs next year. Hopefully the ones that Souths have recruited can fill that gap.

Current Souths backs. (Those im uncertain about re: contracts are in ?-?)

Braidon Burns
Tyrell Fuimaono (2nd row/centre)
Bryson Goodwin
Aaron Gray
Hymel Hunt
Greg Inglis
Robert Jennings
Alex Johnston
?Ed Murphy?
Dane Nielsen
?Michael Oldfield?
Siosofa Talakai
?Tautalatasi Tasi? (Utility)

Barring injuries, do these signings provide a solid supply for what youre saying Girvie?

Obviously not all outside backs but thats 13 players competing for 5 spots in FG. Leaves 8 (minus 1 for 18-19th man) to play RG.

Depends if Tasi, Oldfield, Murphy and Neilsen are all back?

I think Fuimaono will play in the forwards which would leave the following backs:

Souths
1. Inglis
2. Johnston
3. Gray
4. Hunt
5. Goodwin

Plus usually a reserve (Talakai).

This would see Robert Jennings and Braiden Burns added to the Bears current backline with players such as Abbas Miski and hopefully Tasi. Key position we need to lock in is a fullback, as we used a variety of players there this year.
