I hope they post the teamlist like they used to for the regular games.

It's a bit early to be playing trials isn't it? I suppose it'll show which players are serious about wanting to be professional footballers. Even at 6PM it'll still be hot.

Re- team lists, the failure to let fans know what's happening with the squad is a bit failing of this club. It's better than it used to be, but it could be better. I always hate it when we aren't told that players have left the club mid-season and we don't find out until we see them playing for another team.

Anyway, enjoy the games if you go.

With so many Souths contracted players in the squad now wonder if it might time for a ISP reserve grade for the Bears playing RMC

Just like how Wenty Mounties and Wests are doing things
That would keep all fringe Bears players in the one squad

Seems to be looking more like

Souths 2nd tier players play ISP for the Bears
Bears contracted players will play RMC for Asquith

Bears won 36-4 (no goal kicks) across 3x25 minute periods.

The team was a mix of the Bears ISP and U20s squad. None of the Souths NRL players or their U20s players with profiles on their website.

It was a polished performance from the Bears and looks like there are some quality players, particularly some of the U20s were standouts.

Did you recognise any of the players?

Tom Freebairn and Jackson Williams were the recognisable ISP players.

It was mainly U20s playing. Cameron Yeates (backrower, Bears SG Ball 2015-16 and Asquith Massey/Sheild) and Sean Sabutey (centre, Bears SG Ball 2016-17) both scored doubles, and Dylan O'Connor (fullback, Souths U20s 2016-17) was one of the other try scorers.

I wish there were footage of these kinds of games somewhere. Do you guys think that'll ever happen?
